Though we make many improvements that help advance the world as a whole, we also cause many problems. Problems such as increasing in air pollution, causing health and life threatening illnesses, and inflicting damage to the Earth. Renewable resources are the resolution to the problem of our mistakes. Renewables resources even though having much criticism in the past are now needed more than ever. Renewable resources contribute by not only having a surplus amount of resources, but by having positive effects on the environment and the people. Though renewable energy is very efficient, clean, and unlimited there are objectors of this idea such as Jesse H. Ausubel. In his article â€Å"Renewable Energy is Not Beneficial for the Environment† he expresses his ideas of how the world doesn t need renewable resources and how it will lead to a downfall. He backs his claim wi th statistics about how wind, solar, and hydroelectricity is a useless investment. Ausubel is an environmental scientist that has two Ph.Ds in environmental science, graduated from Harvard College, and is a director of the Program of Human Environment.
